Welcome, Guy Jackson!
We are delighted to welcome Guy Jackson to the Integrity Wealth Solutions team. Guy has been appointed as our Head of Strategic Partnerships and is responsible for managing the relationship between IWS and our strategic partners.
Guy started his career in financial services straight out of University. Initially he worked for Royal Life and subsequently moved to Scottish Amicable and Prudential, before settling at Standard Life where he stayed for 20 years.
He cannot pretend that he wouldn’t have preferred a career as a professional footballer with all its trappings, unfortunately this was never an option because his sharp and brilliant football brain never seemed to be able to communicate with his feet.
Guy has spent his whole financial services career working with Financial Planning firms which meant getting involved in all areas of their businesses. He has never regretted working in financial services and has found that the speed of change in the industry, and the variety of the work he has been involved with, to be compelling.
The part of the job that Guy has always enjoyed is helping the firms he worked with to find solutions for their businesses and their clients. He is excited about the new role at Integrity and is looking forward to working with our business partners to support the work they do with their clients. He feels that one of the attractions of the role is that no day will be the same, it is a new role which he has the chance to shape and build which after 30 years of working for PLC’s is an exhilarating opportunity.
Why Guy joined Integrity…
Martin and Guy have been discussing him joining Integrity for over 2 years and he gave it careful consideration before coming on board. He told us that the reason for joining is that it is a genuinely exciting opportunity with a forward thinking business, with excellent and motivated staff. He has worked with 100’s of financial planning firms and believes that he has the experience and insight to identify a quality firm that has the clients interests at the heart of everything they do.
Outside of work…
Like most of us Guy likes to travel to interesting places overseas with family and friends. He likes to keep fit playing racquetball and tennis as well as putting himself through the torture of regular spin classes believing that the pain he feels must be doing him some good. He did play football until recently, however, 2 bad knees and a surgeon have convinced him to throw in the towel .
